
Stacey Margaret Jones’s first novel, Mr. Catherine, published by Creators Publishing in June 2019, is a southern gothic domestic suspense story set in contemporary Little Rock, Arkansas. She earned her master’s of fine arts in creative writing from the University of Central Arkansas in 2015, and her poem “Pale” was nominated for a 2015 Pushcart Prize. She’s published her poems, fiction and articles in regional, national and international outlets, and her fiction has been anthologized in an international short-story journal.
Jones is an independent market research consultant in central Arkansas where she also works as an adjunct literature and writing instructor at the University of Central Arkansas and a substitute yoga teacher. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (APR) and has also earned her master’s in communications management from Syracuse University. She and her husband, medieval-mystery author Jay Ruud have traveled to 6 continents and 37 countries. She’s run 2 marathons and 20 half-marathons and is currently working on her second novel. She has four dogs and 200-plus dresses.
